I loved that we can make skin tones using a simple 24 pack of Prisma colors!! The class had such great resources and really helped me to see teaching this in such an easier light. The way I have been doing it hasn't worked the best, so I am excited to see how this will go this year!!

I watched flesh being created with colored pencils. I saw a nose appear from nothing. You guessed it, colored pencils again. I learned how to see undertones and how to use warm and cool colors to slowly build values of skin-tones. Tiff is a master magician with colored pencils. Love her spirit and vitality. Very skilled and intense yet she made everything feel effortless with amazing results. I'll be utilizing the resources over and over in my classroom.

I do a lot of colored pencil work with my advanced students and skin tones. After using techniques taught in this course, my student’s work won the Congressional Art Competition and hung at the US Capitol in Washington DC for a year. Your lessons and helpful advice have kept me sane these last few years of teaching after a pandemic. I am slowly figuring out how to adjust my classroom to better meet the needs of my students after the world flip on its self and all has changed.
